Hiphop Tamizha Adhi is a member of the Indian musical duo Hiphop Tamizha, which consists of Adhithya “Adhi” Ramachandran Venkatapathy and Jeeva R. They are headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The Hiphop Tamizha pair gained widespread notoriety with the song “Club le Mabbu le”; a radio performance of the song earned over two million views within a week of its YouTube release in 2011.

In October 2014, Adhi remarked that, despite numerous offers, he had no desire to act. In 2016, however, he revealed that he would make his cinematic acting debut in Meesaya Murukku, for which he would also direct and compose the music. The film, released in 2017, was partly based on his life. Hiphop Tamizha also appeared as a lead in Natpe Thunai, and his third film, Naan Sirithaal, was released on February 14, 2020.

Following Meesaya Murukku, they are back to direct another film titled fourth Sivakumarin Sabadham without also producing under the label Hiphop Tamizha Entertainment with Sathya Jyothi Films. Following that, the fifth film, Anbarivu pooja, would be released on December 14, 2020, with filming taking place in Coimbatore and Pollachi. This will be Adhi’s first rural-based film. Following Pongal, shooting for the film will commence in mid-January 2021.
