Fahadh Faasil was born in Ernakulam, Kerala, on August 8, 1982. He finished his primary and education in Alappuzha, Kerala. In 2002, he played the lead role of Sachin Madhavan in his father’s Fazil film Kaiyethum Doorath.
His father, Aleksa Muhammad Fazil, may be a well-known Malayalam film director, producer, and screenwriter, which prompted Fahadh to form his film debut at the age of 19. However, Fahadh’s debut film, Kaiyethum Doorath, was an enormous commercial flop.
People were perplexed that the daddy directed such a flop of his son’s film, and that they accused Fahadh’s father Fazil of failing to properly launch his son.
After his debut film failed, he relocated to the us , where he earned a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Miami in Florida. Director Ranjith decided to cast Fahadh in his film Kerala Cafe even before he made his film debut in 2009, and it had been at Ranjith’s request that director Uday Ananthan cast Fahadh in the film’s Mrityunjayam episode.
In the 2017 film Velaikkaran, Fahadh Faasil made his debut as an antagonist opposite Sivakarthikeyan. He also appeared within the 2014 film Bangalore Days, during which he played the role of Shiva Das.
Aside from Fahadh, the film also featured actress Nazriya Nazim within the lead role, also as Isha Talwar. This was followed in 2019 by Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha Akkineni, and Ramya Krishnan within the Tamil film Super Deluxe. Critics praised his performance within the film.
