Ram Charan is an Indian film actor, dancer, producer, and businessman. For Santosham, he received two Nandi Awards, two South Filmfare Awards, two CineMAA Awards, and two Best Actor Awards. Charan is one of the highest-paid actors in Tollywood. In 2016, he established Konidela Production Company as his production company.
Ram Charan was born in Chennai to Telugu actor Chiranjeevi and Surekha and has two sisters. He is Allu Rama Lingaiah’s grandson and Pawan Kalyan’s nephew.
In 2007, Ram Charan made his film debut as the lead actor in Puri Jagannadh’s film Chirutha. Following the success of S.S.Rajamouli’s 2009 smash hit Magadheera. Charan rose to prominence as one of Tollywood’s leading contemporary actors. Charan made his Bollywood debut in Zanjeer, a remake of the 1973 film of the same name. He portrayed ACP Vijay Khanna, who swears vengeance on his father’s murderer.
Bruce Lee was his next film. He also appeared in the film Dhruva (2016). Rangasthalam, directed by Sukumar, is his next film (2017). Vinaya Videya Rama was his 2019 film. He is also the producer of his father Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. He will now appear in the upcoming film “RRR,” directed by SS.Rajamouli, alongside leading actor JR. NTR, Ram Charan’s name in the RRR is Alluri Sitharamaraju, and both NTR and Charan play leading roles.
