Dulquer Salmaan is a well-known Indian film actor who works primarily in the Malayalam film industry. Dulquer was born in Kochi, Kerala, India on Monday, July 28, 1986. He is the son of legendary actor Mammootty and his wife Sulfath Kutty, and he made his acting debut in 2012 with the film “Second Show.”
Surumi Kutty is Dulquer’s elder sister. He went to Toc-H Public School in Vyttila, Kochi, Kerala, and Sishya School in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India for his education. He then moved to the United States, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Purdue University in Indiana.
He completed a three-month acting course at the Barry John Acting Studio before making his film debut.
In the same year, Dulquer appeared in Anwar Rasheed’s “Ustad Hotel,” where he received praise for his performance as Faizy. In 2012, the film received several awards, including the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Theevram, his third film, received mixed reviews and was a box office flop.
