Jiiva is currently working as a leading actor in Tamil film industry. He is the eldest son of RP Chowdhury, a famous producer of Tamil film industry.
Jiiva made his debut as an actor in the year 2003 in Tamil film industry by acting in his father’s production company Super Good Films’ 50th film ‘Asai Aasaiyai’.
In the year 2003, Jeeva got the attention of many Tamil fans by playing the lead role in the Tamil remake of ‘Thithikuthe’, which was a huge hit in the Telugu film industry.
His 3rd film ‘Ram’ directed by Aamir has been a huge success in Tamil. The Cyprus International Film Awards honored him with the Best Actor Award for his performance in the film.
