“Yaanai” is a Tamil action thriller directed by Hari, starring Arun Vijay, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, Ammu Abirami, KGF Ramachandra Raju, and Radhika Sarathkumar.
The film’s release date was initially set for June 17 but was pushed back to July 1, 2022, due to the continued success of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s “Vikram,” leading to a delay in theater screens. This is not the first time the release date has been postponed, as it was previously scheduled for May 6, 2022.
“Yaanai” is produced by Drumstick Productions and primarily targets B and C center audiences. The satellite and digital rights for the film have been acquired by the Zee group. It began streaming on Zee5 on August 19, 2022. Additionally, director Hari and Arun Vijay are expected to announce a new project together soon.
