Vijay Gurunatha Sethupathi was born in Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu, India on January 16, 1978. He is a Tamil-language film actor, producer, lyricist, screenwriter, playback singer, and dialogue writer. To name a few, he is best known for his roles in Sundarapandian, Pizza, Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, Pannaiyarum Padminiyum, and Dharma Durai.
He went to Dubai for a job after finishing his graduation, but he was unhappy with it, so he returned to India in 2003. After a string of supporting roles, he made his feature film debut in Ramasamy’s Thenmerku Paruvakaatru in 2011.
His first film, Sundarapandian, was released in 2012, and he played the lead villain. He then starred in the directorial debuts of Balaji Tharaneetharan and Karthik Subbaraj, in the comedy film Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom and the thriller film Pizza, respectively.
He was most recently seen in the Telugu blockbuster Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. In this film, he co-starred with legendary actor Chiranjeevi. He has also appeared in Master, Petta, and Vikram.
