The Dark Heaven is an upcoming Tamil crime thriller film scheduled to release on 18 September 2026. Written and directed by Balaaji, the film is produced by Manoj under the banner Kothai Entertainment. The movie stars Sidhu Sid as Ilampaari and Tharsika Navaratnaraja as Umaiyaal, alongside Riythvika Panneerselvam and Nizhalgal Ravi. Set in the hill village of Mekkarai, the story revolves around a disturbing belief that men in the village mysteriously die every seven years during June. When a newly appointed police inspector arrives to investigate a series of unexplained murders, he uncovers dark secrets, long-standing beliefs, and hidden truths that place his own life at risk.
