The story of “Shamshera” is set in the fictitious city of Kaza, where a warrior tribe is imprisoned, enslaved, and tortured by the ruthless authoritarian general Shudh Singh. The film follows the journey of a man who transforms from a slave into a leader and then into a legend for his tribe, fighting tirelessly for their freedom and dignity. This man is Shamshera.
The movie began streaming on Amazon Prime on August 19, 2022. In a recent interview, the director mentioned that they are planning to make a sequel.
