Shabaash Mithu is a biographical sports drama based on the life of Mithali Raj, the captain of the Indian women’s cricket team (Tapsee Panu).
Through Raj’s story, the film follows her journey from the beginning and provides insight into the struggles of women in this male-dominated sport.
Although the biography was originally directed by Rahul Dholakia, it is now being directed by Srijit Mukherji, a well-known Bengali artist.
