Puri Jagannadh directed the romantic sports action film Liger. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in the lead roles, with Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Ali, Makarand Deshpande, Shah Emtiaj, Vishu Reddy, Srinu Boddupalli, Abdul Quadir Amin, and many others in supporting roles. The music was composed by Sunil Kashyap, Vikram Montrose, Tanishk Bagchi, and Lijo George-DJ Chetas, while Vishnu Sarma handled the cinematography and Junaid Siddiqui edited the film.

Produced under the banners of Dharma Productions and Puri Connects, the film is produced by Karan Johar, Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, and Hiroo Yash Johar. The film features an extended cameo appearance by American former professional boxer Mike Tyson. Liger began streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar on September 22, 2022. Due to its poor performance at the box office, there are no updates about a sequel.
