Kannagi Nagar is an upcoming Tamil love-thriller set to release on 5th December 2025. Directed and written by Dheena, the film is produced by Dr. Rajeev Madhavan Menon under Rajeev Menon Studios, with distribution handled by Premaalaya Studios. The movie stars A Gautham, Dheepa Umapathi, A Muthu Raj, Bala Singh, and Ko. Raviraj in pivotal roles.
The story follows Kutty and Meena, two siblings who lose their parents in the tsunami and are raised by their grandmother in Kannagi Nagar. When Meena is kidnapped by five men, Kutty assumes she has been killed. Overcome with trauma, he is aided by a mentally unstable charity founder and avenges Meena by killing the five culprits. Later, discovering Meena is alive, he travels to Thailand to find her. However, Meena rejects him and urges him to live a good life. Heartbroken and unable to accept her decision, Kutty tragically ends his life at a construction site.
The film features cinematography by Mohammed Farhan, editing by Marish & K. Manikandan, and music composed by Thenisai Thendral Deva.
